This paper debates the aesthetic experience as an important point of adherence to fashion discourse. It is understood that the images construct the feminine are seen primarily as tyrannical. However, tyranny alone would not be able to explain the power that they have in everyday life. In order to demonstrate this paradoxical relationship, we present a brief overview of the fashion editorials of Vogue magazine since 1950 and some notes on fashion and fitness blogs as a development of fashion images.
