Abstract

This essay seeks to define and identify elements of chronotopic subversion in film. For that task, concepts proposed by Mikhail Bakhtin, Lezama Lima and Ismail Xavier will be used in a textual analysis of Bride of Frankenstein (James Whale, 1935)
