This article’s intent is to refer to the relation among femininity, psychoanalysis and fashion, based on a psychoanalytic overview. For this purpose we considered some distinguishing qualities attributed to women by Freud (1932), as, for example, the exaggerated narcissism, vanity and the pattern of covering their faults.
