For a semiotic definition of sports

This paper explores the physical and bodily constitution of sportsmen and sportswomen regarding the sporting activities which they will perform. It also reviews a typological subdivision of matches proposed by Roger Caillois thinking on the contemporary dynamics related to sports and match activities. This paper discusses yet narrative issues linked to matches, sports, and performances sanctioned in a delimited time and space.
