This article presents the concept of distributions of the sensible, from theeponymous book by the contemporary philosopher Jacques Rancière, in order to producenew forms of visibility and enunciation of contemporary fashion, from its aesthetic andpolitical aspects. More than a behavioral system, fashion here will be treated as a manifestationof community language, which can be read through its modes of sociability andthe effects it produces. We started our discussion by raising the main concepts that bringfashion and art together, especially with regard to its imagery surface. Then, we are guidedby the notion of style, to understand how certain creative processes were imprisoned bythe idea of the homogenization of bodies through language. Here, we raised the campaignI speak my truth, launched in 2019, by the clothing brand Calvin Klein. Finally, we putfashion in the plural and together with the proposition of aesthetic philosophy, we launchourselves towards a conceptualization of images, in relation to their identification processes, through the ethical, representative and aesthetic regimes, in an approximationbetween art, fashion and philosophy.
